About these counts

Intersection counts of bicycle and pedestrian traffic are conducted twice a year at various locations in Knox and Blount Counties.  Past counts were collected manually by TPO/MPC staff, but beginning in 2014, a temporary camera/DVR installation allows counts to be collected and reviewed later. Counts are conducted from 7 - 9 a.m. and 4 - 6 p.m. unless otherwise noted.
