These weekly free rides are designed for all types of riders. The route changes each week and covers approximately 5 miles. We will break halfway to support a local business or enjoy one of Knoxville’s many parks. Helmets and a basic understanding of on-road riding required.

Discover a new way to see the city on these family-friendly, beginner rides produced in partnership with DreamBikes - Knoxville and Dogwood Arts. On this approx. 8 mile ride, enjoy views of the Tennessee River, the colorful gardens along Island Home Blvd, and the greenway to Ijams Nature Center. Helmets and a basic understanding of on-road riding required. FREE. Ages 8+ recommended.

Join bicyclists worldwide in a silent slow-paced ride to raise awareness that bicyclists have a legal right to the public roadways and to honor the lives of those who have been killed, disabled or injured while bicycling. The ride is about 8 miles. Hosted by the Jeff Roth Cycling Foundation. Arrive at the Blount County Courthouse by 6:30 pm. Helmets are required, front and rear lights are strongly recommended.

Smoky Mountain Recumbent Rally

Ride with fellow recumbent riders in and around the beautiful Smoky Mountains. Ride distances vary from 11 to 45 miles. Guest speaker is John Schlitter, long distance Ultra Cyclist and RAAM rider. There are booths from the recumbent world showing new products, providing test rides and answering questions about what is going on in the bent world. Registration costs vary.

Choose one of 4 routes to tour the back roads and rural countryside of Blount County. Distances will be approximately 25, 42, 54 and 78 miles.

Join Bike Walk Knoxville and local elected officials on this ride to Edgewood Park using First Creek Greenway, neighborhood streets, and short distances on Broadway where we will ride on sidewalks. After the ride head over to Last Days of Autumn for a social hour.
