Kick off Bike Month with Bike Walk Knoxville, DreamBikes and I Bike KNX! We encourage you to ride your bikes down for a free helmet fitting, helmet-hair repair by a trained Lox stylist, & a chance to win a gift basket with free bike swag! You can also get your I Bike KNX helmet sticker, good for all kinds of discounts throughout May. Games, activites, & mocktails will be available for kids. Local brews for the adults. Looking to donate your old bike? Drop offs will be held from 5-8 pm for Dream Bikes. All proceeds from the night benefit the Kids Love Bikes program.

Smart Cycling Traffic Skills 101 Course

The Smart Cycling Course includes tips and techniques that increase the benefits of vehicular bicycling and staying safe while bicycling. The course combines online instruction with parking lot and on-road practice. The Smart Cycling Course begins with the participant taking an online self-guided course and is completed with on-bike skill drills and a practice ride. Course is free, pre-registration is required. Ride with fellow recumbent riders in and around the beautiful Smoky Mountains. Ride distances vary from 9 to 40 miles. Registration costs vary.

South Knoxville along Sevier Ave, will be open for people walking, bicycling, skateboarding, and dancing. There will also be a bike rodeo.
